What are advanced security settings?

Advanced security settings, also called Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), are mandatory security measures designed to protect your SumUp profile from unauthorised access and give you complete control over your activities.

For your safety, you'll be asked to set up one single trusted device by creating a 5-digit confirmation PIN and enabling biometric authentication.

Once configured, all important and sensitive activities must be authorised from your trusted device using one of these secure authentication methods, ensuring only you can access your profile and manage your funds.

If you don’t have permission to perform this action, please reach out to the owner or administrator of the SumUp profile for support.
