To get started, download the SumUp Pay app on your smartphone and follow the on-screen instructions to sign up and verify your identity.
Verify your identity
You’ll just need to provide your personal details (name, date of birth and residential address) and take pictures of a valid identity document as well as a selfie to verify your identity.
SumUp is authorised as a Payment Institution by the Financial Conduct Authority. Therefore, we’re obligated to verify that you’re the individual registered with the SumUp profile for Anti Money Laundering and safety reasons.
Add a card to your SumUp Pay profile
To add or edit your card details:
Tap the profile button on the top right hand corner or the screen.
Select "Cards" in the "Account" section.
From there, you'll be able to add or delete a card and set a card a primary. Once a card has been added, it cannot be edited. Please be aware that you can only add 4 new cards in a 30 day period.
You can link your domestic personal bank debit cards. Corporate cards, credit cards, or cards issued from a different country to add money to your balance aren’t accepted.
