Send or receive money with SumUp Pay
You can send and receive money from other SumUp Pay users. Here's how to proceed:
Open the SumUp Pay app.
Open the "Payments" tab.
Select either "Pay someone" or "Request money".
You'll then be able to:
Send or request money from your contacts,
Send or request money via QR code,
Send money via bank transfer, or
Display the bank details associated with your SumUp Pay account to transfer money to your balance.
Sending money is only possible when you have enough funds in your SumUp Pay Wallet.
You can send and receive money to and from all SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) countries using euro-to-euro transfers .
Limits
You can send a maximum of £2,000 a week (7 days rolling).
Top up your SumUp Pay Wallet balance
In order to top up your SumUp Pay Wallet balance, proceed as follows:
Open the Home section in the SumUp Pay app.
Tap "Add money".
Select the top up option of your choice between charging your linked card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Send and receive money with your personal QR code
Your personal QR code is a QR code that's unique to your profile. It can be scanned by others to show your profile information. If they're also using SumUp Pay, they'll be given the option to send and request money.
Here’s how you can find your personal QR code:
Tap the “Scan” button on the top right hand of the screen.
Select “Request”.'
Alternatively, go to the “Payments” tab and press “Request money”.
