Create, personalise, and schedule menus
In this section, you can create different menus and schedule them to appear at specific times of the day (e.g. lunch menus from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM) and on designated weekdays.
You can edit and schedule menus via your web browser or your POS Pro, depending on how you first connected to your SumUp Kiosk.
From the web browser or your POS Pro, click "Kiosk" and then "Menus".
Then, tap "Add".
Enter a "Menu name" and click "Start building".
Set up the sections using the existing categories from your item catalogue (you can drag to change the displayed order).
On the other hand, if you want to create a new section, click "create section", enter the "Section name" and select the "Section image".
Arrange your items to reorganise and assign them to one or more sections by dragging them.
To edit or remove an item from the menu, click the "pencil" icon.
Tap "Save" when you finish the process.
All the changes made while setting up the sections will only apply to the SumUp Kiosk and will not affect your general item catalogue.
To customise the menu offerings for specific business hours:
From the dashboard or your POS Pro, click "Kiosk" and then "Your Kiosk".
Select the Kiosk template you want to edit.
Tap "Schedule a menu" and activate the “Schedule menus” toggle.
Click the calendar to select the “Menu”, define its “Time period”, and choose the “Days” the menu is available. Click "Next".
Then, click "Add time period" to add new menus and select its availability.
Tap "Next".
If you want to have the same menu available all day, every day, activate the "Menu" toggle in the "Schedule a menu" section, and then select your preferred one.
From the dashboard or your POS Pro, go to "Kiosk" and then select "Menus" in the left-side menu.
If you have multiple menus available, choose the one you want to edit by clicking the "three dots" and selecting "Edit".
To add new sections, tap "Create new section".
To edit an existing section, click the "pencil" icon to update the "Section name" and its image. Ultimately, you can also remove the section if needed.
By expanding the dropdown, you can "Add new items", "Edit item", or "Remove item".
Once you are done with all the changes, click "Save".
