Change your bank details
To access your funds quickly, you can opt for next-day payouts to your SumUp Business Account.
You can use it to spend with your SumUp Card or transfer money directly to your external bank account.
On your SumUp profile, click the profile symbol in the top right corner.
Select "Profile details".
Choose "Bank details" then "Change bank account".
Enter details for a compatible bank account and continue.
You'll now be invited to verify these changes. Depending on the security settings enabled on your profile, you will either be asked to:
Enter the verification code sent via SMS to your registered phone number and click "Verify bank account" to continue, or
Open the SumUp app from your trusted device and confirm using your confirmation PIN or biometric authentication
Once verified, your bank details will be automatically updated on your SumUp profile.
If you don’t have permission to perform this action, please reach out to the owner or administrator of the SumUp profile for support.
You’ll receive automatic confirmation of your change. This will now be your default bank account for bank transfer payouts.
Check and amend your contact number if your verification code doesn't arrive.
Update account holder
Your account holder and profile owner must match.
For sole traders, the name on the bank account associated with your SumUp profile must match the name of the profile owner or your business name.
Amend the name of the profile owner by editing your personal details. To switch your business’s legal type, change your company signatory, or amend your business name or address edit your business details.
