How to browse the operator menu?
To access the operator menu, tap the company logo at the top of the screen and enter your PIN.
If you don’t have permission to perform this action, please reach out to the owner or administrator of the SumUp profile for support.
You will be able to view the following fields:
Back to Kiosk: returns you to the home screen.
Printer settings: allows you to print different types of receipts (customer receipt, collection slip, kitchen slip, sticky label, or simply a test print).
Order history: you can check all the orders that have been placed through the Kiosk.
Payment settings: you can connect your SumUp Kiosk to your card reader.
Close Kiosk: restricts the Kiosk from displaying the menu and placing orders. It will show the "Kiosk is closed" message with an option to access the operator menu.
Sync sales: in case of connectivity issues, transaction data may be stored in the device itself. Once the connection is re-established, syncing sales will help push any stored transactions across the servers.
Update configuration: re-syncs the device with the item catalogue when new items are added.
Restart Kiosk: closes and re-opens the application, as well as cleans the print queue.
Change language: enables you to change the language.
Log in again: brings you back to the login screen.
Log out: logs you out.
Open network settings: allows you to reconnect to the Wi-Fi.
Kiosk settings: you can adjust the touch screen sensitivity.
