Change your payout method

The fastest way for you to get paid is to receive next-day payouts to your SumUp Business Account, where you can manage your funds in one place and transfer money directly to your external bank account.

Alternatively, you can also opt for transfers to your bank account within 1-3 business days.

  1. On your SumUp profile, click the profile symbol in the top right corner.

  2. Click "Bank & payout settings" then select "SumUp Business Account" for next day payouts to your Business Account.

  3. You'll now be invited to verify these changes. Depending on the security settings enabled on your profile, you will either be asked to:

    • Enter the verification code sent via SMS to your registered phone number and click "Verify bank account" to continue, or

    • Open the SumUp app from your trusted device and confirm using your confirmation PIN or biometric authentication

  4. Check the pop-up message and click "Continue" to confirm the change.

You can also change your payout settings in the Business Account section by clicking "Account" then clicking the button in the "Sales payouts" box.

You can change your bank details to change the third-party bank account your receive your money in at any time.

Change your payout frequency

You can change your payout frequency for direct-to-bank payouts. Business Account payouts are always set to next-day.

  1. On your SumUp profile, click the profile symbol in the top right corner.

  2. Select "Settings" then choose your preferred payout frequency:

    • Daily - every day, except for bank holidays and weekends

    • Weekly - payouts every Monday

    • Monthly - payouts on the third business day each month

Changes only impact future payouts

Payments that you've already accepted will be paid out according to the settings selected when the payment was accepted.
