Check the payment options available with SumUp Pay
You can make in-person contactless payments with any merchant thanks to the virtual SumUp Pay Mastercard, via either Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Additionally, you can pay SumUp merchants by scanning their QR code or through a Payment Link.
Currently, we do not support 3rd party Wallet payments as well as payments to gambling providers.
Choose how you want to be charged when paying with SumUp Pay
You can either choose to directly charge your linked card when you make a payment or, use your SumUp Pay wallet balance, which you can top up whenever it’s needed.
It is also possible to save multiple cards on your SumUp Pay profile and choose which one you want to use when making a payment.
Pay via QR code
A QR code is similar to a barcode. It holds information that is read when scanned. You can either scan the participating merchant's QR code from their smart device or from a stand, display or sticker at the merchant’s business.
Pay via Payment Link
Your merchant can send you a Payment Link via email, SMS or other messaging services like WhatsApp. Tapping on the link will automatically open SumUp Pay and display the amount owed to the merchant. All you have to do is confirm the payment to complete the transaction.
Add or delete a card from your SumUp Pay profile and choose which card should be charged by setting up your profile.
