Create a profile

  1. Download the SumUp Local app.

  2. Enter your mobile number.

  3. Confirm by entering the 6-digit SMS verification code sent to your number.

  4. Enter your country of residence, followed by accepting the Terms and Conditions.

  5. Provide your email address.

  6. Enable notifications to get notified of any rewards and offers from local businesses.

View nearby rewards offered by local business

Discover rewards near you on the SumUp Local home page by tapping "Turn on location" under "Nearby rewards".

Add a payment card to start getting rewards

Choose how you usually pay in store at local businesses.

  1. Tap "Link with Apple Pay" or "Link with Google Pay".

  2. We’ll verify your card with a temporary hold of £0.01 that will be returned to you. Confirm the charge.

  3. Your payment card is now linked.

You’re now ready to earn rewards. Just pay with the card you linked as usual at SumUp Local businesses to automatically earn rewards.

Can I add more than one payment card?

Yes. Just add any additional payment cards that you usually use to pay in store to your SumUp Local profile. All linked cards to your SumUp Local are listed in the "Wallet" tab of the app.
