How does it work?

From the SumUp Loyalty section, you can create and send time-limited offers directly to your customers. These campaigns will be delivered via push notification through the SumUp Local app.

You have two types of promotions to choose from:

  • Promotions: Send limited time discounts and offers to your members that will drive additional foot traffic on slow days. 

  • AutoPilot: Create automated, targeted campaigns that are sent to your members based on specific triggers, such as birthdays.

Can I monitor the campaigns I create?

With SumUp Loyalty, you can monitor the performance of your campaigns by accessing real-time data.

How can I set up promotions?

  1. On the web browser, click “Loyalty” on the left-hand navigation bar.

  2. Then, click “Promotions” in the new left navigation section and click “Create promotion”.

  3. In the promotion creation flow, you need to set:

    1. The offer description: e.g. 10% off your next visit.

    2. The message (optional): should include any relevant details or restrictions for the promotion, as it will be shown when your customers open the push notification.

    3. The offer validity: includes the start and end dates of the promotion.

  4. Click "Continue" and then "Send now".

How can I send promotions with AutoPilot?

  1. On the web browser, click "Loyalty" on the left-hand navigation bar.

  2. Then, select "AutoPilot" in the new left navigation section and click "Set up AutoPilot".

  3. Go through the list of available campaigns and click “Set Up” to activate your preferred campaigns.

  4. Set "When to send message", enter the "Promotion name", and specify "Expiration period", then click "Safe".
